hey y'all.

Welcome to my little virtual bungalow. Settle in, make yourself cozy. Let's be friends.

I'm Jessica, and I am many things. Mother, Daughter, Sister, Girlfriend, Entrepreneur. I started this crazy freelance journey as a wedding stationery designer. And those brides who first let me fuel the fire of my graphic design love? They're my favorite. I then moved on to a little bit of brand identity design, some baby announcements, etc. But I was lonely. I missed being on a team. I offered my services (for next-to-nothing) to a few small business owners and found that I really just wanted to help them thrive. I had all this knowledge and wasn't using it. It was then that I realized, I could do all the things I love while supporting others. Insert a ton of exclamation points here!

I fell into the world of virtual assisting unintentionally and I am absolutely loving it. Being able to do what I love from home, especially as a mother, is an incredible blessing. Supporting other graphic designers who are working from home is an even bigger one. But enough about me, let's figure out how I can help you!

Need help getting shit done? Drop me a line and let's get to work!

values + vision

It's not just a business, it's your livelihood. Your heart & soul. Essentially, your business is like your baby. Would you hand that baby over to just anybody to help you take care of it? (Rhetorical question...but please say no!) I want you to have full confidence in knowing that I'm the right fit for you and for your business. Let's just be totally honest with each other for a second, okay? Putting even just a tiny bit of your business into someone else's hands is terrifying. Amiright? "What if they don't care as much as I do? What if they rip me off? Oh gosh, what if I have to fire them??" Girl, I know. It's hard.

To help your business grow, you've got to work to your strengths and hand off what you don't love. Those tedious tasks that you know you can do but you just really don't feel like doing. You can admit it, this is a judgement-free zone. But you need someone competent and trustworthy to hand them to. This is where I come in.

Let me tell you the three things that are most important to me when working with a client:

First, I value transparency. Second, open communication. And third, connection. What all of these mean for our relationship is that we're going to be working together pretty closely. I want to know what you're working on even if it's not something you need me to handle right now. I'm going to offer suggestions as to how I can best help you. I'm going to cheer you on.

So, let's link arms and get to work already!
